Thanks Leo, but it seems I've solved the problem. I used the exact
commands in Protocol.Ctl that comes with Max, just uncommenting the Ascii
and Kermit sections. But that didn't do the trick.
Someone in the echo here suggested another entry, which used the odd
form of:
Kermit.Exe Kermit.Exe ...parms...
It looked weird to me, having the Kermit and Ascii.Exe specified twice
like that, but it did work! So, with the exception that Kermit doesn't
work at 38.4k, I'm all set up now.
